Job Description:
The Global Tax Reporting Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the global income tax accounting process including, but not limited to the preparation and review of US and non-US tax provisions, international income tax balance sheets, quarterly tax rate calculations and assisting with the preparation of the quarterly/annual tax footnote and financial statement disclosures in SEC filings. This position will work closely with the Accounting, Treasury, and Corporate Planning & Analysis groups.
Main Responsibilities:
- Establish/foster relationships with Local Country Controllers to minimize tax risks and rate volatility associated with tax provisions
- Coordinate and manage the tax accounting requirements for non-US entities including tax training for internal contacts
- Analysis and documentation for FIN48 reserves
- Tax footnote disclosure and rate reconciliation
- Coordination with the Corporate Accounting and Corporate Development groups to proactively project tax rate impact from tax planning opportunities including mergers and acquisitions
- Serve as tax representative on multidisciplinary committees regarding transactions and other business initiatives
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Business
- 5+ Years experience in Corporate Taxation
- 3+ Years ASC 740 experience serving tax provisions for large global public companies
- Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications::
:
- MBA, MBT, JD and/or CPA
- Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and a working knowledge of IFRS tax accounting principles
- International experience
- Big 4 and SEC Reporting experience
- Embraces and manages change, as well as an effective communicator to management and staff in team and one-on-one meetings
- Proven track record of working closely with various groups within a corporate structure including treasury, finance, legal, operations and senior leadership
- Strong track record of problem solving, strategic/creative thinking, and business communication skills
