Job Overview:

You will be primarily responsible for to assisting sales representatives in making industry-specific technical/application related sales calls and presentations in liquid /solid separation, waste treatment, and raw water treatment. To research, identify and define market and product application opportunities for specific customers within a specific industry. To develop marketing plans in conjunction with field to capture identified sales opportunities. Conduct on-site product application analysis to assess and solve customer problems or meet customer requirements. To provide on-the-job product and sales training as required. Identify training and reference materials needed for field sales training programs

Main Responsibilities:
• Increase sales revenues by providing detailed technical knowledge and assistance during joint sales calls with field organization representatives.
• Prioritize and coordinate sales opportunities with Strategic Business Unit Leaders, Industry Marketers, and the Key Account Management organization
• Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of the Pulp Industry by monitoring new developments, new products, new research, new concepts, etc. in the industry. Keep field organization current with industry technology and best practices.
• Function as a high-level product/market and sales technical trainer as required.
• Identify and provide basic input on industry-unique needs for sales tools, technical materials, sales collateral, media and other promotional materials and campaigns.

• Work with marketing and sale representatives to bring prospect company opportunities to successful closes.
• Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of the industry by monitoring new developments, new products, new research, new concepts, etc. in the industry. Keep field organization current with industry technology and best practices.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10 years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience
• 50 – 60% overnight travel required.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• No immigration sponsorship offered for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.)
• 10+ years of water treatment experience highly preferred; water treatment experience in the liquid /solid separation, waste treatment, and raw water treatment industry is highly preferred.
• Excellent team orientation, proactivity and sense of urgency in supporting business growth and market leadership through differentiated technology and expertise.
• Strong customer service mentality.
• Willingness/ability to travel extensively.
